On April 14, 2010 a convention was arranged by some members of civil society in Calcutta, to protest the ongoing Green Hunt. Arundhati Roy and Gautam Navlakha were the main speakers. The convention took place in a packed auditorium at the University Institute Hall, College Street, Kolkata. The talk placed by Arundhati Roy, captured in camera is being presented below.

This is a film made on the Dongri Konda adivasis of Orissa, who consider a mountain the Niyamgiri their God. This mountain covered in lush forests and the source of lively streams is in danger of being devoured by Aluminium giant Vedanta as it harbours rich bauxite, the adivasis however pledge to part with their lives than their God!
